Waste Pro Management
Waste Collection Guidelines Please do not use the blue bins as the city has discontinued collecting recyclables. Please keep bins until further notice. All trash should be bagged and placed in the green bins. Garbage pickup are on Tuesday and Friday. Garbage bins shall not be placed outside the home prior to 6pm on the day preceding the pick-up. Garbage cans need to be returned to the home by 11:59pm after pick up has been completed. Failure to do so will result in a violation notice being sent to the unit owner. Bulk days are bi-monthly (twice a month) on the 1stand 3rd Friday of the month. If a scheduled pickup is missed, pick up will occur on the next business day. CFW Maintenance Update
10/17/24 - Dog poop garbage lid repaired. 9/30/24 - Burnt out lightnulbs near - 1773, 1747, 1779 - have been replaced. 9/26/24 - Pool chairs and umbrellas placed storage due to Tropical Storm watch. 9/25/24 - Pool cleaned - all pending work orders are closed. 8/22/24 - Pool Umbrella Maintenance - Claim issued under warranty period 8/14/24 - New janitorial service - Ultimate Cleaninig Services 7/15/24 - Payment from FedEx received to process the gate arm repair. 6/11/24 - Full access restored. Ekim Company was able to resolve the issue. 6/10/24 - Limited/No Access - Due to power outage near pool area. No callbox, pool or gym access. 5/26/24 - Incident reported - FedEx truck broke gate arm on resident side. 5/17/24 - Pool and Spa reopened. Heater for spa is not available. Vacuum unable to use until next week. 5/6/24 - CFW light timers adjusted to turn on 7pm and off 7am. 4/21/24 - Hoover Pump inspection based on maintenance. No known issues. 4/10/24 - TreeWorks finished trimming and pruning trees and palms in the community. 4/15/24 - Received key for doggy bag dispenser. Janitorial service will install new bags. 4/8/24 - Doggy bag dispenser missing key, unable to install new bags. 4/1/24 - Waste collection reminder. 3/26/24 - Ekim - Handyman onsite to paint 3 units. 3/22/24 - Due to weather conditions, gate arm project is expected to be completed by Wednesday. 3/13/24 - After completion of Mold Assessment, we have no elevated mold in the gym. The assessment was completed by vendor Bio Clean Pro. 3/5/24 - Gate arm project begins. 2/28/24 - Humidity problems in the gym. 2/18/24 - Gate Arm entry and exit not working. Reset breaker, now fully functional. 1/17/24 - Leak in pool detected and repaired. Pool closure until 1/18/24, 6PM. 1/6/24 - Epsom salt in spa. Owner and tenant notified. 1/3/24 - Holiday light removal and tree disposal notification. 12/22/23 - Beehive removal by 1753 NW 124th Pl. 12/12/23 - Hot tub out of service due to exposure to Epsom salts. 11/15/23 - Gate arms are down due to weather conditions. 11/8/23 - Safety reminder to residents. 10/5/23 - Back gate - 124th Pl closed. Total Entry onsite to repair. Photobeam was off centered. Prevented auto-closing of the gate. 10/5/23 - Gate arm replaced with spare from storage room. 10/3/23 - Broken gate arm in the front entrance. Reported to management. 10/2/23 - Dead frog in the pool, removed. 9/9/23 - Reported green color in pool. 9/5/23 - Timer of lights changed to 7:30PM 8/30/23 - Beehive removed from area. Communication was sent to all residents. 8/30/23 - Beehive spotted near 1753, 1749, 1752 and 1748. Miami Bee Removal was notified. Why wasn't my recycling bin picked up?
As of January 2nd, 2022, Waste Pro USA no longer collects blue recycling bins. Only green garbage bins will be collected going forward. Recyclables are to be co-mingled with trash and will be converted to electricity by incineration. By Florida statute, the incineration of refuse materials to make energy is considered recycling. Waste Pro USA has asked residents to keep their blue recycling bins for the time being. Waste Pro USA is working with municipalities to determine the feasibility of opening a government-run recycling facility in Broward county. Should that occur, then the blue recycling bins will be collected once again.
